Description of the program implementation

Wszyscy studenci kierunku filologia angielska realizują przedmioty obligatoryjne tj. "praktyczną naukę języka angielskiego" z podziałem na poszczególne sprawności językowe, lektorat języka niemieckiego na różnych poziomach zaawansowania oraz wykłady z wybranych zagadnień językoznawstwa, literaturoznawstwa i przekładoznawstwa. Program studiów oferuje możliwość wyboru jednej z dwóch specjalizacji już od pierwszego semestru: językoznawstwo angielskie (język w biznesie) lub przekładoznawstwo. Wybór specjalizacji niesie za sobą wybór seminarium magisterskiego oraz określonych w planie przedmiotów specjalizacyjnych. Ze względu na specyfikę studiów niestacjonarnych oraz możliwości przydzielania zajęć szczegółowe tematy przedmiotów opcyjnych mogą ulegać zmianie w poszczególnych latach.

W związku z podziałem na specjalizacje przedmioty fakultatywne zostały przypisane do jednej z dwóch specjalizacji. Ze względu na specyfikę studiów niestacjonarnych lektorat języka obcego nie jest przedmiotem fakultatywnym, ale obowiązkowym, studenci wybierają tylko poziom zaawansowania. Natomiast seminarium mimo, że obowiązkowe zalicza się do grupy przedmiotów do wyboru, ponieważ przy zapisie na studia studenci mają wybór pomiędzy seminarium jezykoznawczym a przekładoznawczym.
