Description of the program implementation
The vast majority of courses are carried out in the form of classes requiring the direct participation of academic teachers. Subjects that do not require the direct participation of academic teachers include internships (1 ECTS) and the preparation and defence of a master's thesis as part of the ‘Master's Seminar’. The independent work of the student (without contact with an academic teacher) within the framework of the seminar involves in-depth research, the independent development of a working concept, the compilation of a bibliography, the writing of a thesis of between 60 and 100 pages, the incorporation of corrections made by the supervisor and the preparation of the final version for review and defence. The student has the option to choose classes from the following modules: master's seminar, modern foreign language, foreign language course. Each semester of study also includes elective courses in thematic blocks totalling 240 hours/24 ECTS in the first year and 120 hours/12 ECTS in the second year. The content of the electives covers more detailed and specialised topics related to Contemporary Criticism.
Graduation
Passing all classes provided for in the study programme (in the form specified in the syllabuses of individual subjects) and obtaining 120 ECTS points. Positive assessment of the diploma thesis and passing the diploma examination.
